Mural Magic once more

After the success on paper I did the same design on a cloth.
Though the lady looks slightly different the result made me happy.

Here I am wearing my self designed churidar to a function ( proud of the self designed part. Haha)
Black churidar with mural painting teamed with orange dupatta and shawl would be perfect for any function.
I guess the orange in this design really stands out.



Jhumkas!!

A pair of jhumkas to complete the look  :)


I used quilling paper for the jhumkas and acrylic colours for the painting.
The black beads were added for the final look.

Colours Colours Colours

This time I went for a totally new way and I loved it so much (its not the result I expected but its a start anyway). Orange dominates a bit more than I wanted but then this type of art never comes out the way you expect. It will always go the way it likes. This is the most amazing way anyone can become a master artist and create a unique piece that no one can ever copy, not in a million years. All you need is a canvas, lots of paint and time to get your hands dirty! I didn't prepare my canvas, just diluted the acrylic with a few drops of water. Then its just pour and swirl!! 😃 Finally the touchups on the small areas the paint couldn't get to. Again this was inspired by a YouTube video by MelyD artist. Thankyou MelyD! A Dance With Dots

Dots or points, as insignificant as it might seem, becomes compelling and beautiful when they combine. Similarly you might consider yourself as an insignificant part in this world but the minute good deeds you do will finally add up to something bigger or better. It might be as simple as holding the door for someone or helping someone overburdened with luggages. It will be remembered and karma has a way of finding its way back. You get what you give. Atleast that's what I'd like to believe. Brightening my wall This is the 3rd painting in the Buddha Series. It is a 10"×12" canvas and took me 2 days to complete. The practice piece I did helped me a lot in understanding how to place the dots, about what colours to use and different techniques that can be applied for a better result.
