Inner Peace

Image
            Be selective in                 your battles.           Sometimes peace                 is better than                 being right. I'm not sure if this was said by Lord Buddha but fake or not these words do convey an important message. Arguements wear us down especially with people who just want their point to be proved inspite of what the truth is. It brings a lot of negative energy within us and weighs us down. So sometimes, its ok to loose because our inner peace matters more than winning some random arguements. Inner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions. And when you're at peace with yourself you'll start feeling a lot more positive and as they say, "If it comes at the cost of your inner peace, then its too expensive." 😇🕊 Acrylic on canvas- My 2nd attempt  Picture courtsey- Google Images Original artist- couldn't make out the name... Colours Colours Colours

This time I went for a totally new way and I loved it so much (its not the result I expected but its a start anyway). Orange dominates a bit more than I wanted but then this type of art never comes out the way you expect. It will always go the way it likes. This is the most amazing way anyone can become a master artist and create a unique piece that no one can ever copy, not in a million years. All you need is a canvas, lots of paint and time to get your hands dirty! I didn't prepare my canvas, just diluted the acrylic with a few drops of water. Then its just pour and swirl!! 😃 Finally the touchups on the small areas the paint couldn't get to. Again this was inspired by a YouTube video by MelyD artist. Thankyou MelyD! Lessons learnt 😬 • The first time I did this was a total disaster (should've taken a picture). I didn't want to waste much paint. So I went and diluted my acrylics a bit too much. When I poured, the colours mixed with each

Lost In Black & White

Image
Black is such a happy colour & I have no idea why people associate it with negativity. I've always been in love with black especially the combination of black with white.  For me black signifies confidence and power and white is its subtle partner that keeps everything balanced. Wouldn't it be lovely if there was a field like this? I'd be lost in black and white 🖤

Raise A Cup......For Yourself.

Image
Everyday you spend time for others. Do what they like, hangout with them and so on. But its high time you spend time for yourself. This art is a dedication to the self. I'm not for any gender in particular, a race or community. It's being humans that matter the most. So raise a cup (or a glass) for the self....for you as a person. Because only when you respect what's within you , can you respect what's around. You're beautiful. You're strong. You are you. And...... no one's getting out alive so might as well have fun when you're still breathing...'coz you never know. 🤷🏻‍♀️ As usual found this picture online....I borrowed the  oulines and filled it in with my designs. The design on her hand is inspired by my own bridal mehendi. 😀 See I was sure this art would make me come back and do more. And I'm loving it every bit.

Doodling = Fun

Image
So I was sitting in my clinic one day and watching videos on youtube when I came across this video on doodling. I thought woww! Doodling is also an art? I've definitely got to try this. I grabbed a piece of paper (from the prescription pad) and started with a red pen. Each blank space presented with a possibility for something different. When I finally completed I was so happy that I went on to do two more doodles. You know what the best part of doodling is ? Its the fact that you never know what the final picture is going to look like. Sometimes you have a vague idea but other times the designs just come on their own. Anyway I'm hooked onto this for a while now. Here are a few doodles I did. Dragons on a Stroll. 🐉 Inspired by a YouTube video @ASMR Doodles by Sophie This one's fullon my idea! Was a valentine's day project. Yes! This is my first doodle 😉
